Our story

Nuup Bussii A/S was established in 1980 by Nuup Kommunea with the purpose of running public transportation in Nuuk.

Today the company is still owned by Nuup Kommunea who in the meantime has changed name to Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq. The company is still run as a joint-stock company.

Nuup Bussii A/S has currently 31 employees, and has a fleet of 18 busses and 6 cars.

In 2012 we passed 2 million passengers. Nuup Bussii A/S runs in the hours between 6:18 am and 00:15.
